Reflexology is the science which is based on the principal that there are areas on the feet and hands which correspond to the tissues, organs and systems of the body. Application of therapy to these areas can benefit the corresponding areas of the body.
Whilst the art of Reflexology dates back to Ancient Egypt, India and China, it wasn't until 1913 that Dr William Fitzgerald introduced this therapy to the West as 'zone therapy '. He noted that reflex areas on the feet and hands were linked to other areas and organs of the body within the same zone.
Reflexology is a complementary therapy which works on the feet to aid healing to the whole person not just the prevailing condition.

Reiki is "A healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being”. Oxford English Dictionary
Reiki originates from Japan as far back as the early 19th century. It was developed by Mikao Usui, and Reiki practitioners must have a lineage which shows that Mr Usui was the original teacher. It is a non-invasive form of healing and had been used by Eastern medicine for thousands of years before Mr Usui brought it to the Western world.
During a Reiki treatment you will lie on a couch, with your eyes closed. The treatment begins at the head and I usually work intuitively to concentrate Reiki energy to the parts of the body that I feel need it most. The areas sometimes also correspond to emotional or mental issues which may need to be resolved.
